Don’t know what to do with your kids or grandkids classroom Valentines? Look no further! B-Crafty has the answer with this Valentine’s Placemat.
Issue #8
Occasion: Valentine’s Day
Category: Kid’s Delight or Table Decoration
Materials Needed:
20-25 Kid Valentines
1 yard of clear contact paper

Instructions:
Using any oval placemat as a template, trace the outline on the clear contact paper and cut out. Do this two times.
When your child brings home the Valentines they received at school, remove the backing from one of the pieces of contact paper. Place the Valentines in a collage on the sticky side of the contact paper. (Don’t worry if they go over the edge a bit)
Once the collage is complete, remove the backing from the other piece of contact paper. Carefully place the sticky side down on top of the Valentines and smooth out all the bubbles. Finish by trimming any Valentines protruding outside the edge of the contact paper with a pair of scissors.

B-Crafty Tip: Save the placemats and use every year. They will never get old and your children will love looking at them and reminiscing.
