Materials Needed:
2 oz mini red solo cup
60mm clear plastic fillable ornament
10-12 gumballs
Pink, dark gray and light gray construction paper
Stripe of white paper 5 ½ inches by 1 inch for Valentine sentiment
Instructions:
Open ornament and fill with gumballs. Using an X-ACTO knife cut ½“ slit in the bottom of a solo cup. Slide the ornament top loop into the slit. With the pink and dark gray construction paper, cut out 5 pink hearts and 1 dark gray heart using a heart hole punch. With the light gray paper cut a rectangle measuring ¾ “ X 1 ¼” . With the dark gray paper cut a rectangle measuring 5/8” X ½”. Glue the dark gray rectangle and the dark gray heart onto the light gray rectangle as pictured. With a hot glue gun, glue the pink hearts around the cup and the light gray rectangle on the front of the cup. Print out a valentine message on the strip of white paper that is 5 ½ “ long by 1” wide. Use scotch tape to fasten it to the inside of the cup.
B-Crafty Tip: Use a knife or the end of a scissor to gradually open the slit on the top of the solo cup before trying to slide in the ornament loop.
