Materials Needed:
1 Candle Requires:
Half of a swim Fun Noodle
Piece of yellow felt – 9” long X 3 ¼” wide
Clip clothespin
Instructions:
Fun noodles are approximately 56” long so the first step is to cut it in half. Each half will then be 28”.
Then cut the rectangular piece of felt into a rounded point at both ends. (see Materials Needed for a picture of the shape). When finished cutting the felt, fold it in half with the pointed ends up. Along the folded edge, accordion fold it into quarters. Then clip it in place with the clothespin. Slide the clothespin into the top hole of the Fun Noodle.
B-Crafty Tip: The way to make these birthday candles stand up in the yard is to use dowel sticks. Place the dowel stick in the ground and slide the bottom of the candle over the dowel stick. I used dowel sticks that are a ¼ in diameter and cut them in 18” long pieces.
