Occasion: St. Patrick’s Day

Materials Needed:
2 – wooden boards that measure 5 ½ inches wide x 30 inches tall x ¾ inch thick.
Acrylic paints in various colors including; shades of green, brown, peach/pink, black, and red.
Instructions:
With a jigsaw, cut the bottom of the board in a “V” shape so it can be pushed into the ground.
To make the snowman’s hat, cut a ½ “ X 5 ½“ strip on both sides of the top of one of the boards. To make the leprechaun’s hat, cut to top left corner off.
Paint both boards with white paint on both sides. Paint the face as shown or design your own. Add green top and bottom, brown belt and shoes,
Once completed, place in the ground to display for a couple of weeks before March 17th.
B-Crafty Tip: These leprechauns are half the size of all the other post people. It looks so funny when they are displayed in the lawn as they look short and low to the ground.
