Just in time for Cinco de Mayo B-Crafty introduces her Tiny Tacos! Edible art projects are B-Crafty’s favorites.
Issue #21
Occasion: Cinco de Mayo
Category: Edible Art
Materials Needed:
Golden Oreo cookies
Hershey Kisses
Jellybeans: red and green

Instructions:
- Twist the Oreo open to reveal the filling.
- Carefully, with a small serrated knife, using a slow back and forth motion, cut the cookies in half. The cookies break easily so use the two halves that do not break.
- Place the cookie halves next to each other like a wedge or taco. The icing inside will allow them to stick together. The icing will resemble the taco cheese.
- With the same knife cut two thin slices off the bottom of the Hershey Kiss.
- Place the Kiss slices into the cookie, to look like the taco meat.
- Slice the red jellybeans and place the slices on to the top of the taco to resemble the tomatoes.
- Slice the green jellybeans and then cut the slices in half again. Place the pieces on top of the taco to resemble the lettuce.
B-Crafty Tip: If you can find Golden Oreos stuffed with Chocolate filling you can skip the Hershey Kiss steps.
B-Crafty Tip: This is a great dessert for all ages on Cinco de Mayo or anytime.
