B-Crafty just got a fantastic Mother’s Day surprise; a wonderful post her son Brian, the B-Crafty webmaster. So heartwarming to know how important crafting (and I) have been to him. I am so proud to be his and Brad’s mom.

Every Wednesday since Christmas there’s been a new B-Crafty craft posted right here. However, the streak is taking a week off in celebration of Mother’s Day.
Rather than a craft this week, you’re going to be hearing from me, B-Craft.com’s webmaster. The title I prefer though is Betsy’s son.
Every May I get to celebrate having Betsy as my Mom twice. Once for Mother’s Day, and then typically a few weeks later on her birthday. Each and every year in this “Month of Mom” I’m reminded how blessed I am. In a world of choices, the one choice I never made was who would be my parents, and I wouldn’t trade that for anything.

This site is more than just a portal to holiday-themed items; this site was created in part to showcase and archive the incredible amount that my Mom has done and still continues to day.
Items that get instructional walk-throughs on here are always special, but you, the reader, won’t ever see many of the other incredible arts, crafts, and beyond that my Mom has made. When I was younger, I definitely took these for granted. Now that I’m older, I see how truly lucky I was; not everyone’s mother perfected their Halloween costumes year after year.

These are some of my favorite arts and crafts in recent memory, but these don’t even scratch the surface of Betsy’s amazing creativity, care, and God-given abilities. One ability we all have though, the ability to show love to the ones that matter the most to you.

That said, if you were looking for a Mother’s Day craft this week, I can’t help you. But I will suggest that you take some time to show your Mother how important she is to you, not just on Mother’s Day, but any day that ends in “y.”
I love you Mom!
Love,
Brian
