B-crafty bounces your way with Basketball Centerpieces! This week’s craft is much easier than it looks. This centerpiece can be adapted to fit any occasion by changing the balloon colors and themes.
Issue #23
Occasion: Basketball Party/Banquet
Category: Table Decoration
Materials Needed:
6 red balloons (5 inch balloons)
6 blue balloons (5 inch balloons)
9 inch basketball stick balloon
¼ dowel stick 9 inches in length

Instructions:
- Blow up the balloons and then tie a red and a blue balloon together (to make 12 pairs)
- Take two of the pairs and twist them together. Repeat two more times so that when you are finished there will be three sets of four balloons.
- Place the dowel stick in the balloon cup on the bottom of the basketball balloon.
- Stack the three sets on top of each other and gently guide the dowel stick through the center of each set of balloons.
- Place on table and enjoy!
B-Crafty Tip: Place colored crinkled paper on the table around the bottom of the balloon centerpiece.
B-Crafty Tip: The balloons can be blown up at least a week ahead of time and if you do that make sure to store them in a black trash bag to ensure the balloons keep their shine.
