Championship Ring Napkin Rings

Keeping it “in the family”,  B-Crafty’s brother-in-law’s brother requested these napkin rings to celebrate the Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Basketball Team Championship at their annual banquet. It was a fun project and Congratulations to FDU!

Materials Needed:
(please note each championship ring will require different colored materials. The materials listed below were used for the FDU rings)

Cardboard cut out of championship ring – approximately 5 ½ inches in length
Sparkle scrapbook paper (shiny silver or gold)
Printout of championship ring face
6 inch wide roll of bling wrap (black mesh with silver)
Sheet of peel-able clear rhinestones

Instructions:

Trace the cardboard template of the ring onto a piece of scrapbook paper and cut it out. Access school/college web site to get artwork of championship ring, print picture(s) of ring and then cut out. Glue the picture of the ring face to the scrapbook cut out. Cut the bling wrap into triangle shape, (three rows, 5 in top row, 3 in next and then) Glue the two pieces of bling mesh on to the scrapbook paper on the sides of the ring face. Peel the rhinestones off the sheet and affix them on the four corners of the ring face.  Staple the two ends of the ring together and then slip onto the napkin.
