Materials Needed:
- 4 oz red paper cup (ripple insulated)
- Black plastic lids for 4 oz cups
- 2 google eyes (10mm)
- Black pipe cleaner cut in half
- Black construction paper
- Heart hole punch (heart width is 5/8”)
Instructions:
- For each ladybug, punch out 8 hearts from the construction paper.
- With Tacky Glue, glue each heart onto the cup in two rings around the cup, 4 in each ring.
- Using hot glue, glue the two goggle eyes on the plastic lid on the flat area just on the front edge below the sipping slot.
- Bend the half of pipe cleaner in half and fold the tips back about a ¼”.
- Place a round 1 ½ “ white label on the bottom of the cup with the message: ”Happy Valentine’s Day! Bugs and Kisses for you!”
- Fill the cup with Hershey’s Hugs and Kisses.
- Place the lid onto the cup.
- Slide the bent end of the pipe cleaner into the sipping slot.
B-Crafty Tip: To sharpen the edges of a decorative hole punch, cut through aluminum foil several times.
B-Crafty Tip: Since the pipe cleaner antennae are not fastened on, if you travel with the Ladybug Cup, merely push down the pipe cleaner back into the cup so it does not fall out.
