Instructions:

  • Place the red wrapping paper in the bottom of the glass.
  • Place the Styrofoam ball on the top of the glass and press into the glass base as best you can
  • Pin the end of the wrapped candy into the ball and begin to make 5 rows around. Line the candies up as close to each other as you can
  • As you near the top, before you pin in the top two rows of candies, press the two halves of the straw in the ball at offsetting angles
  • When you reach the top, place pins through the middle of the white ribbon curls and press into the top of the ball. (the ribbons are to represent the whipped cream so therefore these are optional)
  • Once the curls are in place, top with the red candy. It can be glued or just pressed in

B-Crafty Tip: If you have to carry or travel a distance to deliver this craft, B-Crafty suggests that you can use a slightly smaller Styrofoam ball and jammed it into the glass to secure it. (If you use a smaller ball, you will need less candies and pins.)
