Materials Needed:
- Sandy beach
- Bucket and shovel
- Clam shell painted with Eagles’ eye
- Acrylic paints in various colors: white, black, gray and Eagles’ teal/green
- Picture of the Eagles’ logo
- Flour
Instructions:
- Before going to the beach, paint the clam shell with the eye of the Eagles’ logo using the acrylic paints
- Build a pile of sand large enough for the Eagles’ logo
- By relying on a picture of the logo, sculpt the logo by starting with the overall outline
- For this sculpture only add the flour where there is white on the logo
B-Crafty Tip: B-Crafty has learned that if the object being build in the sand has an eye or eyes, the best way to make the sand sculpture look authentic is to paint the eye or eyes on a large clam or scallop shell before going to the beach.
