B-Crafty made this “Finger Puppet Turkey” many years ago to entertain her sons at Thanksgiving time. They are versatile enough that without the pipe cleaner on the back, you can use them as a decoration to stick in a dip or other dish.

Materials:
- Craft stick
- Light brown and red acrylic paint
- 2 Teeny tiny goggle eyes
- Fine point black Sharpie
- Orange, yellow and red construction paper
- Half of a pipe cleaner
- Tacky glue
- Hot glue

Instructions:
- Make a pattern for 6 turkey feathers and cut two out of each of the 3 colors
- Cut a small triangle out of the orange paper for the beak
- Paint the top half of the stick with the brown paint
- Affix the two goggle eyes with glue
- Affix the beak
- With the red paint, paint the turkey’s gobbler
- With the black Sharpie draw the turkey’s legs
- Glue the 6 feathers on the back of the stick
- With hot glue affix the pipe cleaner on the back in a ring to put your finger through
