In 2006 with the popularity of “Cars” growing, B-Crafty and her family built “Sand Lighting McQueen”. The keys to this sculpture were the eyes B-Crafty painted onto large shells and using flour for the windshield. This one really attracted the young kids on the beach.

Issue #142
Occasion: Beach Time
Category: Sand Sculpting

Materials Needed:
- Sandy beach
- Bucket and shovel
- Red colored Jell-O
- Flour
- Painted shells for the eyes
- Imagination

Instructions:
This sculpture is not tall so building the pile was a bit easier, just had to make it wide. Sculpt the car from the top down and when complete add the red Jell-O first then add the flour on the windshield, the lighting bolt, the number on the top and then the wheels. Place the shells on the windshield at the end.

Another great one! I love it.
