Sand Lighting McQueen

In 2006 with the popularity of “Cars” growing, B-Crafty and her family built “Sand Lighting McQueen”. The keys to this sculpture were the eyes B-Crafty painted onto large shells and using flour for the windshield. This one really attracted the young kids on the beach.

Issue #142

Category: Sand Sculpting

Materials Needed:

  • Sandy beach
  • Bucket and shovel
  • Red colored Jell-O
  • Flour
  • Painted shells for the eyes
  • Imagination

Instructions:

This sculpture is not tall so building the pile was a bit easier, just had to make it wide. Place the shells on the windshield at the end.
