Spooky Marshmallow Skeleton

B-Crafty visited J-Crafty this week, stumbled into her Halloween crafting time and came away with “Spooky Marshmallow Skeleton”. B-Crafty was going to move on to wedding ideas, but this Halloween themed craft was too good not to share.

Issue #151

Occasion: Halloween

Category: Treat/Party Favor

Materials: (for each skeleton)

  • One white lollipop/cakepop stick 6 inches in length
  • One large marshmallow
  • 6 mini marshmallows
  • 4 white chocolate or white yogurt covered mini pretzels
  • Cake decorating pens in black

Instructions:

  • Push the lollipop stick through the bottom of the large marshmallow
  • With the cake decorating pen draw the face on the skeleton
  • Push one of the mini marshmallows onto the stick and slide it up to the large marshmallow
  • Slide one of the pretzels on the stick up to the mini marshmallow
  • Repeat the past two steps 3 more times
  • Push two mini marshmallow onto the stick to secure the stack in place

B-Crafty Tip: A great way to turn this Spooky Marshmallow Skeleton into a gift is to slip the skeleton into a cellophane bag and tie the end with a festive Halloween ribbon.
