B-Crafty loves Christmas in July so here’s a new holiday craft; “Popsicle Stick Sled Ornament”. A little painting, a little gluing and it’s done.

Issue #186
Occasion: Christmas
Category: Ornament/Favor

Materials:
- 6 wooden popsicle or craft sticks
- Red and green acrylic paint
- 9 inch piece of baker’s twine
- Hot glue
- Exacto knife or like sharp tool

Instructions
- Paint all the sides and edges of two of the sticks with the red paint. Let dry

- On the stick that was cut straight, paint small holly leaves with green paint and add the berries with red paint
- On the small 2 ¼ inch piece, paint the current year with the green paint
- With the hot glue, affix the red painted sticks’ edge to the non painted sticks that are cut with a diagonal edge
- Cut the left over small pieces diagonal edges straight across and glue them to connect the underside of the sled
- Glue the holly painted stick in the middle of the sled
- Glue the dated piece across the top
- Affix the baker’s twine to each end of the dated piece.
- Glue the cut piece from the center stick to the underside of the cross bar so it is sticking out at the top
